The H&K developed MP-5 is the most famous submachine gun developed since World War 2. H&K remodeled it several times, like changing the flash hider to equip a silencer, and having the butt plate fixed or folded.

Steyr's AUG (Armee Universal Gewher), which translates to "universal army gun", is a bullpup-style assault rifle. The M16 series has a short history, but has frequent modifications and various versions. Starting as an early Vietnamese model, the AR-15 was modified into the M16A1, and then into the present US official rifle M16A2. The PSG-1 ( "Präzisions-Scharfschützen-Gewehr", German for "precision sharpshooting rifle" ) is a semi-automatic sniper rifle designed by the German company Heckler & Koch.

The Minimi was first developed by the FN Corporation in Germany in the early 1980s. With the inception of actual manufacturing in 1982, it was commissioned by the U.S. Army and received its new designation: M249 Squad Automatic Weapon. The Degtyarev DP (Degtyarev Pechotnyi) is a weapon developed by the former Soviet Union in 1927 for use during World War II and the Korean War.
